Welcome to My Go-To Buddy / VibeVerse (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website at www.mygotobuddy.com and all related products and services, including the VibeVerse AI Chatbot and physical companion cards (the “Services”).
Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services. By accessing or using any part of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.
1. Eligibility
- Users under 18 must have consent and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
- Children under 13 (or minimum digital age in your country) may only use Services with verified parental consent.
- Parents are responsible for the actions of their children while using the Services.
2. Description of Services
Our Services include:
- Access to a website with educational and emotional resources
- Use of a faith-based AI chatbot with 6 customizable characters
- Physical card products that promote emotional literacy
- Resources for parents to support children’s growth and values
We are not a replacement for medical or professional counseling.
3. User Accounts and Registration
- Parents may create accounts to manage children’s access and preferences.
- Account information must be accurate and updated.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
4. Parental Consent
For children under the age of 13, parents/guardians must:
- Submit a consent form or ID verification
- Approve access to the chatbot and data use
- Retain the right to review and delete their child’s data at any time
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Services to harm, exploit, or harass others
- Submit false, harmful, or illegal content to the chatbot
- Violate intellectual property rights
- Attempt to bypass security features or reverse-engineer the platform
6. Intellectual Property
All content (cards, characters, branding, chatbot scripts) is the intellectual property of My Go-To Buddy and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our chatbot provides general emotional guidance and is not a substitute for therapy or crisis intervention.
We are not liable for damages arising from your use or inability to use the Services.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if these Terms are violated. Parents may deactivate their child’s access at any time.
9. Modifications
We may modify these Terms. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy and any dispute arising out of or related to it shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom. Where required by local law, we comply with applicable data protection laws in the user’s country of residence.
